Collection consists of correspondence, printing ephemera, newspaper clippings, photographs, manuscripts, and miscellanea collected and created by H. Richard Archer and the Hippogryph Press. Includes materials related to his years as a bibliographer at the Clark Library and as Rare Books Librarian at Williams College. Correspondents include many figures from the So. California printing and library communities, including: William Cheney, Grant Dahlstrom, Muir Dawson, Saul Marks, Ward Ritchie, Jacob Zeitlin, Lawrence Clark Powell, Robert Vosper, Tyrus Harmsen, Neal Harlow, and Edwin Carpenter.
